In recent years,the riverside zone of city has received attention in the field of urban ecological planning due to its unique landscape resources.At the same time,the riverside zone has also provided good support for the image building of the city.However,in actual development,the problem of riverside soil pollution and ecological environment has been gradually emerged.Heavy metal pollution in urban riverside zones is extremely harmful to river water quality and bring hidden danger for urban water safety.The risk assessment of heavy metal pollution in the riverside zone can effectively protect water and metal pollution,and provide theoretical support for the treatment and restoration of polluted water.Taking the riverside zone of Jiaozuo section of South-to-North water transfer canal as an example,this paper carrying out risk assessment of heavy metal pollution in soil,constructing a benefit evaluation system for ecological space planning in riverside zone,and to evaluating the current situation of the ecological spatial planning of the riverside zone in the region,and formulate the ecological spatial planning strategy for the riverside zone on this basis.The main results are as follows:(1)There are different degrees of soil pollution in the 100 meters along the main channel of the Jiaozuo section of the middle route of South-to-North water transfer canal.The results show that the major risk factor of heavy metal pollution in the study area of the Jiaozuo section of the middle route of South-to-North water transfer canal are mainly Cd,and the pollution degree is industrial and mining area> agricultural area> urban area.All of them are at a level of severe pollution;the potential ecological risk levels are in the agricultural area> industrial and mining area> urban area,and all of them are at a high ecological risks level;(2)The current status of riverfront ecological spatial planning is generally at a relatively low level.The results show that the ecological benefits,landscape benefits,infrastructure,social benefits and comprehensive benefits of the study area are C+,B+,B,B,and C+ grades respectively.The comprehensive index calculation results show that the landscape benefits are more significant,and the infrastructure and social benefits are at low to medium levels,the ecological benefits are relatively unsatisfactory.Soil pollution and ecological environment problems in the riverside zone still need to strengthen repair and management;(3)Formulate the planning strategy for the ecological space in the riverside zone of Jiaozuo section of the South-to-North water transfer canal.Based on the soil pollution restoration and management,combined with the design elements of the riverside zone in Jiaozuo City.The riverside spatial ecological orientation planning ideas from ecological protection planning,landscape cultural planning and basic safety planning are obtained,which provides a constructive reference for waterfront landscape design.
