Phenol is a common chemical raw material,which has been widely used in oil refining,leather and petrochemical industries.However,it has high toxicity,and it can cause great damage to aquatic plants at low concentration.What is more,it can also caude serious damage to the central nervous system,kidney,liver and intestine and stomach of animals.The concentration of phenol in surface water should not be higher than 0.002mg/L in domestic regulations.Thus,phenol is considered to be one of the main pollutants in water,and should be removed befored it is charged.In this article,grapnene is used as adsorbent in an adsorption method.The adsorption efficiency of grapnene to phenol is studied in different conditions of concentration,pH,teperature,and pHenol amount,so as the thermodynamics and dynamics of adsorption,knowing that the maximum equilibrium adsorption capacity is8.474mg/g.The study shows that:The optimum adsorption to phenol pH is 7,and the optimum temperature is 30?.The higher the concentration of graphene oxide,the higher the adsorption efficiency of phenol is.The lower the concentration of phenol,the higher the adsorption efficiency is.The adsorption data fits Langmiur well and accords with quasi-second-order kinetic model.The?G~0 is calculated to be negtive while the enthalpy and entropy are positive,which shows that adsorption is a spontaneous endothermic reaction.Phenol will be completely desorbed when the temperature exceeds 80?,indicating that the adsorption process belongs to physical adsorption.At the same time,the process design of phenol adsorption by graphene oxide solution in pilot scale-up experiment was carried out.The process has the characteristics of green environmental protection,simple process,low cost,and operability needs to be verified in practical experiments.The number of theoretical trays and reflux ratio with high cost performance ratio are obtained by simulation of distillation column,which has guiding significance for engineering application.
