The rapid development of modern industry produces a large number of waste water contains phenol and dye which can not be degraded and can be easily enriched in living body via food cycle,it makes up prodigious threat to the environment and human health.Among the present handling methods to phenol and dye waste water,biosorptionprocess is widely used because of the simple operation and efficient treatment.Chitosan receives extensive attention because of its several advantages including the abundant in resources,environment-friendly,strong adsorption ability,good diffusion performance,preferential adsorption and easy resume activity.Because chitosan molecule contains much amino and hydroxyl,it has certain adsorption effect to phenol and dye.But chitosan is not stable in acid medium,it is easy to hydrolysis loss which makes big limit to the application of chitosan as an adsorbent.This paper investigated and surveyed sufficient literature research on the structural characteristics of chitosan and modified modification research status and the treatment methods of phenol and dye waste water.Then we used two functional novel nanomaterial to modify chitosan and give it magnetism then prepared stable,highly adsorptive property and segregative modified magnetic chitosan adsorbent which can be used in water treatment.This thesis mainly includes two aspects of content:We prepared magnetic chitosan/graphene oxide and magnetic chitosan/multiwalled carbon nanotube composite via hydration method of eutectic,and study the adsorptive property to phenol and methylene blue.Characterized them by scanning electron microscope,which shown that the two kinds of composite materials were successfully synthesis.We researched the influence of pH,temperature,adsorption time,initial concentration on adsorption performance.The results showed that pH has a big effect to the adsorption of phenol by MCSGO,and the optimum pH is 4-6,in addition,temperature has a little effect.The experimental data indicated that adsorption kinetics accorded with pseudo second-order kinetic model,the fitting coefficient is as high as 0.999.The adsorption isotherm accorded well with Langmuir model,the fitting coefficient is 0.97222 and the maximum adsorption capacity reached 86.2mg g-1.The removal rate of 50mg L-1phenol stayed at 70%after several times reused and MCSGO can be easily separated.The results showed that pH has a big effect to the adsorption of MB by MCSCNT,and the optimum pH is about 5,in addition,temperature has a little effect.The experimental data indicated that adsorption kinetics accorded with pseudo second-order kinetic model,the fitting coefficient is as high as 0.999.The adsorption isotherm accorded well with Langmuir Freundlich and Tempkin model and the maximum adsorption capacity reached 30.72mg g-1.The removal rate of 20mg L-1 MB stayed at 60%after several times reused and MCSCNT can be easily separated.
