Since 2011,the continuous air pollution is prominent,and the smog caused great harm to people's health.To decrease urban road dust,the moisturizing type dust suppression agent and the crusting type dust suppression agent were prepared in this paper,which inhibit dust-rising by moisturizing ratio and dust-crust formation,espectively.By solution polymerization method,the moisturizing type dust suppression agent is prepared with acrylic acid and N,N-methylene bis acrylamide,which inhibit road dust by increasing the dust moisture content of 5% or higher.The impact of the amount of initiator,cross linking agent,and acrylic acid and other factors on dust suppressant viscosity was examined in details.When the dosage of initiator was 0.6%,the dosage of cross linking agent was 0.03%,the neutralization degree of acrylic acid was 80%,and the reaction temperature is 70 ?,the solution viscosity reached 455mPa·s.The results of moisture absorption and hygroscopic properties of dust suppressing agent showed that,30 g road dust sprayed with 0.10 g dust suppressant,at the relative humidity of 45%,temperature of 5 ? and 20 ?,the maintain time,dust moisture content being higher than 5%,is 12 hours,and the effective suppressive time is more than 12 hours.Moisture-type dust suppressant can absorb moisture in air,the hydrogen bond interaction between hydrophilic carboxylic groups and water molecules can slow the evaporation rate of water.The crusting type dust suppressant was prepared by semi-continuous dropping method with vinyl acetate and butyl acrylate as the main monomer,which could form a shell layer with a certain thickness on the dust surface,so as to achieve the effect of dust suppression.At the VAc/BA quality ratio of 4:1,the initiator dosage of 1.2% based on total monomer weight,the emulsifier dosage of 2.0%,protective colloid dosage of 20% of the monomer,the reaction time being four hours at 80?,emulsion viscosity was 257.5 mPa·s.The anti-wind erosion performance of dust suppressant showed that,30 g road dust sprayed with 0.10 g dust suppressant,continuous blowing dust surface 30 minutes,the quality loss is 1.4%.After a number of water spray,the largest mass loss rate is 1.6%.The suppressant may fill up the gap between dust particles,and the dust particles was adhesived together by hydrogen bond interaction,which improve anti-wind ability effectively.
