Harmful ingredients originated from Cigarette burning will go through tobacco shred condensation,filter filtration,finally becoming the mainstream smoke.Many reports are focused on the methodology improvement of detecting harmful components in mainstream smoke and filtration efficiency of the harmful composition,but little is known about the puff-by-puff release rules of harmful compositions in the process of cigarette burning.In this thesis,the two harmful components of seven representative harmful components in cigarette mainstream smoke,namely,hydrogen cyanide(HCN)and crotonaldehyde,were selected as target analytes after literature survey,and their puff-by-puff release rules in the process of cigarette burning were studied.The main contents are as follows.1.The determination methods of HCN and crotonaldehyde in the pyrolysis/distillation area(combustion cone),unburned tobacco shred area(tobacco shred in short)and filter intercept area have been established.0.1 mol/L NaOH solution was used to extract HCN in the burning cone,tobacco shred and filter,and the extracted HCN was then determined by a continuous flow analyzer,the recoveries were between 90.44%?113.7%and RSD was within 10%.50%acetonitrile-water solution(V:V)was used to extract crotonaldehyde in the burning cone,tobacco shred and filter,and the extracted crotonaldehyde was then determined by high performance liquid chromatography,the recoveries were between 89.3%?114.6%and RSD was within 8%.2.The puff-by-puff release rules of HCN in the burning cone,tobacco shred and filter and mainstream in the process of cigarette burning were studied.It is found that the total HCN release quantity increases with increasing the number of puff,and so does the HCN quantity in the mainstream smoke,but the transfer rate is Irregular(all above 70%except for the first puff);the puff-by-puff HCN adsorbed on the tobacco shred shows a rising trend and the transfer rates are all low(maximally 3.13%)disorder;the HCN retained by the filter shows an upward trend and the transfer rates are all below 30%and its trend is like HCN in tobacco shred and mainstream;and the puff-by-puff HCN per tar unit also shows a rising trend;The correlation of HCN and nicotine and water in mainstream smoke are both strong.3.The puff-by-puff release rules of crotonaldehyde in the burning cone,tobacco shred and filter and mainstream in the process of cigarette burning were studied.It is found that the total crotonaldehyde release quantity increases with increasing the number of puff rise,and so does the crotonaldehyde quantity in the mainstream smoke,but the transfer rate decreased puff by puff(all above 60%except for the first puff);the crotonaldehyde adsorbed on the tobacco shred rises puff by puff but the trend of transfer rates is dropping with the highest value of 11.1%;the crotonaldehyde value retained by the filter shows an upward trend and the transfer rates are all below 30%;and the puff-by-puff crotonaldehyde per tar unit also shows a rising trend.The correlation of crotonaldehyde and water in mainstream smoke is strong.
