The complexes synthesized by the reaction of pyridine triazole and metal ions have received significant attention during recent years,not only because of their intriguing variety of architectures and topologies but also their potential functional applications in magnetic materials,absorption,nonlinear optical,luminescence,and so on.In this paper,twelve complexes have been prepared by the reaction of 3-(pyrid-3-yl)-5-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)-1,2,4-triazolyl(H2L),1,3-bis(5-(pyridine-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazo le-3-yl)propane(H2L'),1,3-bis(5-(pyridine-4-yl)-1,2,4-triazole-3-yl)propane(H2L")with different transition 3d metals and characterized by X-ray diffraction single crystal structure determination,powder diffraction,element analysis and IR spectra.In addition,the CD spectra luminescence properties and the stability in solution of some complexes were discussed.The main work in the paper includes four chapters:Chapter One:We sketch the research background of the coordination polymers,and introduce the recent progress about metal triazole coordination polymers and inseted metal bispyridine triazole coordination polymers.Chapter Two:Three complexes,namely:{[Co2L2H2O]·2H2o}n(1),{(H3O)2·[Ni6L6(?3-O)(H2O)3]·4H2O·3EtOH}n(2),[ZnL]n(3)based on H2L have been prepared via solvothermal treatment.The crystal structure analysis reveals that complexes(1)?(3)are all 3-D networks,where the adjacent metal centers are connected by H2L ligands.Complex(1)belongs to the orthorhombic P212121 space group,and it is a chiral compound.Complex(2)belongs to the hexagonal P-6 2 c space group,and the crystal presents the double hexagonal pyramid appearance.In addition,the luminescent property of complex(3)has been investigated.The significant blue shift for complex(3)is due to the incorporation of metal-ligand coordination interactions,as compared to that of free H2L ligand.Chaper Three:Three complexes,namely:[Fe2Cl4(H2L')2]·2Cl·2i-PrOH(4),{[Co3Cl5(HL')]·H2O}n(5),[Co4Cl4(H2L')2(H20)4]·[CoCl4]2·2H20(6)based on H2L' and one complex,namely {[Co(Isoph)(H2L")]·H2O}n(7)based on H2L" have been prepared via solvothermal treatment.The crystal structure analysis reveals that complex(4)is a 0-D Fe2 cluster;complex(5)is a 2-D network formed by the H2L' ligands and ?2-Cl atom connecting the trinuclear cobalt units;complex(6)presents a 0-D sturcture being made of a cation[Co4Cl4(H2L')2(H2O)4]4+ and two anions[CoCl4]2-;complex(7)is a 1-D chain.Chapter Four:One complex,namely {[Cu(Thioph)(H2L")]·2H2O}n(8)based on H2L" and four complexes,namely:[Cu2Cl3(HL')(H2O)]6·5H2O(9),[Cu3Cl4(HL')]n(10),{[Zn2Cl2L'H2O]·H2O}n(11),[Zn4Cl6(HL')2](12)based on H2L' have been prepared via solvothermal treatment.The crystal structure analysis reveals that complex(8)is a 1-D chain;complex(9)is a 0-D Cu2 cluster;complex(10)is a 1-D chain formed by the H2L' ligands and?2-Cl atom connecting the trinuclear copper units;complex(11)is a 1-D chain formed by the H2L' ligands and ?2-Cl atom connecting the dinuclear zinc units;complex(12)is a 0-D Zn4 cluster.
