Determinations of the temporal-spatial variation characteristics of "carbon source/sink" and the mechanism of carbon cycle in different ecological systems play an important role in regional climate change and energy cycle. This dissertation was based on the lake eddy correlation system, combining with field latest monitoring data for lake water body. The carbon exchange process between the lake water body characterized by typical calcification and the air interface in the Badain Jaran Desert was set as the main research contents. The response of local microclimate and characteristics of lake water body in Lake Yindeertu to the strength of carbon cycle were discussed.A weak "carbon sink" function during the period of observation in the Lake Yindeertu was preliminarily reveal.Several conclusions were drawn, which are shown as follows:(1)The summer data are relatively good, while the effectiveness of winter data is relatively low for the Yindeertu vortex observatory. The missing data rate is between 22% ~ 46%.The missing rate of monthly data is smaller than the permission range of missing data rate of FLUXNET.Ninety percent of the flux data is contributed from a contribution source area around the observation site within 170.9 m distance. The carbon flux data are not impacted by the underlying surface heterogeneity(lakes and desert crisscross). All of the observed values of carbon flux are from the carbon cycle process between lake water body and atmosphere interface.(2)Lake Yindeertu presented the characteristics of "carbon sink" during the period of observation. In other word, the lake absorbed part of carbon(CO2)from the atmosphere. The volume of carbon dioxide sequestration by the lake was 2614.8 ?molCO2m-2s-1 from January to August,2013;while the volume was 2764.7 ?molCO2m-2s-1 from July,2014 to June,2015.(3)The single environment factor is not a main factor to influence carbon flux exchange between desert lakes and atmosphere.Environmental factors are one of the driving forces of the process of carbon cycle in desert lakes, which are the most prominent in the seasons of spring and summer.Regional environmental factors and lake water factors are the main driving factors of carbon cycle. The source of inorganic carbon in Lake Yindeertu mainly originates from the regional deep groundwater. The carbon flux exchange between lakes and atmosphere is affected by the characteristics of lake water body and the water environment factors. The carbon cycle process in Lake Yindeertu is closely related to the circulation process of the regional deep groundwater.
