Logistics as basic strategic industry supports healthy development of economy,it's important for social development.Steady growth requirements of China's logistics optimizing basic characteristics of ascension.Total social logistics slow,logistics market optimization,new form is growing rapidly.Total social logistics cost to GDP ratio drop,logistics industry transformation and upgrading situation,logistics quality and efficiency of continued ascension.13th Five-Year Plan",logistics industry enter new stage of transformation upgrading.Choosing“China's logistics industry total factor productivity measure"as object,analyzing 31 provinces and six regions total factor productivity by qualitatives and quantitatives,finally raise promotions.Paper reviews domestic and foreign scholars about logistics industry total factor productivity,summarized logistics industry theoretical basis,total factor productivity measure model,collect China's 31 provinces from 1997-2015 and six regional logistics industry data,using DEA-Malmquist index method to measure logistics industry total factor productivity level,analyze factors affecting logistics industry total factor productivity level,raise improvements of China's logistics industry total factor productivity.Research shows that China's 31 provinces,1997-2015 logistics industry total factor productivity appeared repeatedly negative and positive growth obvious fluctuation trend of six regions in our country the logistics industry in 1997-2015 total factor productivity is general growth,low level of growth and regional differences,unbalanced development.Affect 1997-2015 China's 31 provinces and six regional logistics total factor productivity high and low main reason is that technological progress.Technical progress of China's 31 provinces,logistics development contribution to total factor productivity is low,six regional logistics industry development contribution to total factor productivity is higher.The secondary reason is technical efficiency,technical efficiency is high and low key lies in the pure technical efficiency.
