Research On Comprehensive Measurement And Evaluation Of Urbanization Development Level Of Northwest Urban Agglomerations

Nearly 40 years since the reform and opening up,China's urbanization has made remarkable achievements,but at the same time,great regional difference has been widely concerned.In order to solve the problem of regional differences in the development of urbanization,the national "11th Five-Year" plan has proposed urban agglomeration as the main form of promoting the process of urbanization,and through the guidance of the market and the government,a number of urban agglomerations will be formed,which will become an important growth pole of regional development.The northwest urban agglomerations urbanization is especially important.The northwest region has the characteristics of ecological vulnerability,poor coverage and multi ethnic communities,which is the priority area of China's urbanization plan.And the northwest urban agglomerations is an important part in the "two vertical and three horizontal" strategic plan.2013 President Xi Jinping proposed a suggestion of building Silk Road Economic Zone,which provides a new opportunity for the northwest region in developing urban agglomerations.Therefore,further study for the problems of urbanization development,not only have a positive effect on narrowing the regional difference of urbanization,but also have an important significance for the work of alleviating Chinese poverty,promoting regional development and promoting the Silk Road Economic Belt's further construction.By using qualitative and quantitative methods,this paper try to clarify the background and significance of the study,and sort out the related concepts and theoretical basis firstly;Secondly,through the analysis of the northwest urban agglomerations development status,this paper try to indicate the existing problems of using urbanization rate as the indicator of urbanization development;Thirdly,with comprehensive consideration about population urbanization,economic urbanization,social urbanization,land urbanization and ecological urbanization,this paper try to construct an integrated measurement system for the development level of the northwest urban agglomerations urbanization,then to analyze and evaluate the measurement results;Finally,according to the analysis and evaluation,this paper try to provide countermeasures and suggestions for the northwest urban agglomerations urbanization.Based on the theory of urbanization and the theory of information entropy,this paper measured the level of urbanization development in the northwest urban agglomeration in 2005-2014,which included 5 subsystems and 25 indicators,by using entropy method.Then the SPSS is used to cluster analysis of the comprehensive development level of each city.The conclusions are as follows: Firstly,the level of urbanization development in the northwest urban agglomerations has an obvious growth tend;Secondly,there are significant differences in the level of urbanization development in the northwest urban agglomeration,and the urbanization development level in each city can be divided into four levels,which has an obvious regional disparity enlargement.In addition,the development level gap of each urban agglomeration is more significant.Thirdly,the development of the urbanization in the northwest urban agglomerations take the proportion of urban population's increasing and urban construction expansion as the main model,with lacking attention of ecological urbanization;Finally,the quantity and quality level of urbanization development are imbalance in the northwest urban agglomerations.
