Public Hospital Cognition And Satisfaction Survey Based On Patient Perspective

Objective: Based on the policy documents and literature analysis, investigate the patients’perception of hospital public welfare and satisfaction of public hospital in Beijing ,explore the patients’ demand for public hospital public welfare, summarize advanced experience of pharmaceutical pilot hospital separately in promoting public welfare , then provide reference for widely to improve public hospital public welfare.Methods: We used the method of literature analysis.Combed the public hospital public welfare policy documents, returned to public welfare in the direction clearly,understand public hospital public welfare of domestic and foreign research present situation, draw lessons from public hospital performance evaluation of public welfare related research,combined with the main manifestation of the current public hospital public welfare weakening and lay the foundation for the development of public hospital public welfare questionnaire based on the perspective of residents.Otherwise,We used the method of questionnaire survey.Investigated the random residents in Beijing for the public understanding of public welfare, the implementation situation and the overall satisfaction and 20 public welfare indicators of evaluation.Indicators related to the health services accessibility and suitability, medical service cost, public welfare social tasks and public welfare social responsibility,in order to reflect the current public hospitals to improve public welfare problems to be solved.Results: (1)Patients had a low level of understanding of public hospitals public welfare,especially the lower level of culture,income and older patients. (2)Nearly half of the patients said that public hospital public welfare achieved the general level, more than a third of patients thought that public hospital public welfare degree of implementation wasn’t ideal.(3)The patients’ satisfaction degree of public hospital public welfare was better. (4)The importance evaluation about medical examination results of mutual recognition,rational drug use and the use of basic drugs were highest,it showed that there was a strong and urgent need to ensure the suitability of medical services. At the same time, patient’s had wide demand on relief medical expenses of the poverty patients, emergency rescue of public emergency,business technical guidance to junior medical structure, unblocking patients rights, free clinic service and health education.(5)The satisfaction evaluation of patients on medical services guidance,medical expenses and treatment effect were the highest and waiting time,information disclosure and medical expenses outside the directory were lowest satisfaction,showed that patients had a strong and urgent needs on information disclosure,strengthen patient knowledge informed and shorten the waiting time.(6)Medicine separate pilot hospital patients, satisfaction on the treatment effect,medical expenses and medical insurance directory outside the cost of drugs was higher than other hospital patients, non pilot hospital patients’ satisfaction on medical services guidance,humanistic care,waiting time and other aspects was higher than the evaluation of medicine separate pilot hospital patients, but no significant difference were observed in the evaluation.Conclusions: (1)The demand of the public hospitals public welfare to improve point in shorten the waiting time, ensure that medical service, strengthening the information disclosure,unblocking patients rights and enrich the public welfare reflected forms. (2) The suggestions of improving the public welfare in public hospitals included strengthening the government responsibility,perfecting hospital internal management,regulating the behavior of the media,and all parties promoted public hospital public welfare.(3)Explored the advanced experience of the medical separate pilot hospital in improving public welfare aspects, through perfecting the rules and regulations to provide guarantee for public welfare, through making convenience measures, carrying out health education, the development of medical scientific research and strengthening information disclosure aspects to reflect public welfare, further through ensuring the appropriate medical service and building a harmonious doctor-patient relationship to strengthen the public welfare.
