Objective: To observe the clinical effect of modified Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction in treating infantile hepatitis syndrome(qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome),and to provide a basis for clinical application.Method: In this study,60 patients met the standard were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group to compare the efficacy index, including clinical symptoms, liver function, liver size and TCM syndrome. Results: Evaluation of efficacy index: Treatment group markedly effective in 14 cases, effective in 14 cases, ineffective in 2 cases, total efficiency 93.3%;Control group markedly effective in 7 cases, effective in18 cases, ineffective in 5 cases, total efficiency 83.3%,comparison of the two groups after treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that Modified Xuefuzhuyu decoction and ursodeoxycholic acid have clinical significance in the treatment of IHS,while the treatment group was better than the control group in reducing liver size, relieving jaundice, decreasing enzymes. Conclusion: It is shown that the effect of modified Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction in infant hepatitis syndrome(qi stagnation and blood stasissyndrome)is significant. In addition, after treatment, the treatment group was better than the control group in improving the clinical symptom.
