Purpose:Through the methods of quantitative research combined with qualitative research,this dissertation investigated the turnover intention status,job stress and social support of the old-age care nurse in Changsha,discussed demographic variables?working pressure and social support on the nursing staff turnover intention,and its solution.Method:1.quantitative research:firstly,we select 2 pension institutions?1 public and 1 private?each area by the stratified cluster sampling method,from 6 districts in Changsha?Furong district,Tianxin District,Yuelu District,Kaifu District,Yuhua District,Wangcheng District?,and 3 counties?Changsha,Ningxiang,Liuyang?.Then we select nursing staffs from the selected 18 pension institutions as the subjects of the questionnaire investigation from April,2016 to September,2016.The questionnaire includes four parts:general demographic data,work stress scale?WSS?,social support scale?SSS?and turnover intention scale,from which a total of 500 valid questionnaires were collected.2 person check the input data with Excel,and the statistical description analysis is adapted SPSS17.0 software.t test or ANOVA test is used to analyze the difference of nursing staff turnover intention in different demographic variables;Use Pearson to analyze the positive and negative correlation between the two variables that work stress on turnover intention and social support on turnover intention.Finally,the main factors influenced the nursing staff turnover intention are analyzed by multivariate linear.2.qualitative research:using purposive sampling method and the principle of saturated information extract nursing staff?II?III?for qualitative research from the selected 18 pension institutions from December,2016 to February,2017.According to the interview outline,we collect data with semi-structured depth interview.With Colaizzi,the phenomenon of seven step analysis method,recording data is transferred into text using NVIVO11.0 software.Finally,after checked by the other to encode and induce it in order,the theme are concluded and the conclusion is obtained after verification.Result:1.the total turnover intention of nursing staff was 16.03±5.88,and the turnover intention was level II.The three dimensions'scores of the nursing staff turnover intention are arranged as follows:dimensions 3?the availability of other works?2.70±0.98;dimension 1?the possibility of resignation?2.68±0.99;dimensions2?the possibility of looking for other work?2.64±0.98.The number at different levels are?accounting?:0?16.8%?;level I of 119?23.8%?;level II of 206?41.2%?;level III of 91?18.2%?.2.the total score of social support to the nursing staff was 41.53±16.55,with a ratio of about 64.89%.and the total score of the nursing staff's work stress was 75.40±20.86,with a ratio of 47.13%.3.The single factor analysis shows that:there was a statistical significance on the turnover intention of nursing staff?P<0.01?,in terms of age,work experience,scheduling,number of take care,income and the nature of the company;The results of correlation analysis shows that:the social support and the turnover intention was negatively correlated?r=-0.590,P=0.000?,while the work pressure and turnover intention was positively correlated?r=-0.807,P=0.000?.4.Multivariate analysis shows that:the number of scheduling,care,income,social support and work stress are in the equation of the nursing staff'turnover intention score:Y=4.118+2.114X3?scheduling?-1.326X4?number of take care?+2.273X5?income?+0.315X7?social support?-0.092X8?working pressure?.The determining coefficient R2=0.728,P=0.000.5.The qualitative research results show that:the impact factors to the nursing staff's turnover intention including:working conditions,work risk,environmental factors,occupation identity and external driving factors;The measures including:self-adjustment,seeking support,self-lifting and dynamic excavation.Conclusion:1.The turnover intention of nursing staff is strong,and their working pressure is large,while the social support is low;2.Age,working years,scheduling,the number to take care of,income and the nature of the company affect the nursing staff's turnover intention,and social support,work pressure,scheduling,the number to take care of,income are the main factors affecting the nursing staff turnover intention;3.The higher social support,the lower work pressure,then the smaller turnover intention.4.Qqualitative research believes that besides the above reasons,environmental factors,occupation identity and external driving factors can also affect the turnover intention.5.At present,the nursing staff should do as follows:self-adjustment,seeking support,self-promotion and excavating power.Reducing the turnover intention of nursing staff,reducing the brain drain needs the joint efforts of the pension institutions,the relevant functional departments and the nursing staff themselves.
