Objective:The comparison study is to explore infrared image characteristics about crowds with Yang-deficiency of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in order to provide certain reference, by observing the infrared image especially Sanjiao and Ren Du meridian & acupoints. Methods:Based on the theory of the zangfu(viscera), meridians and collaterals of TCM, firstly, by the method of literature research, retrieved China National Knowledge Internet(CNKI) database to count up the specific part and acupoint of cold and hot natural properties about crowds with Yang-deficiency of TCM. Secondly, by the method of retrospective survey research, the result of one hundred and thirty-eight TCM constitution questionnaires about Yang deficiency was statistically analyzed, to find the relation between cold & hot natural properties and parts about crowds with Yang-deficiency. Finally, by the methods of clinical research, sixty persons were randomly selected, including Yang-deficiency constitution group (30 cases)and neutral constitution group (30 cases) measured by Chinese Medicine Questionnaire (CCMQ,2009) to do comparison study. Then the whole body and partments scanning for each of them were achieved by the thermal infrared imaging camera with short focal length and uncooled lens. Therefore, the average thermal values of Sanjiao and Ren Du meridian & acupoints were measured by TMI-W-6.0 system, and data was analyzed by SPSS 17.0, to summarize infrared image characteristics of the crowds with Yang-deficiencyResui ts:1. The result of literature and retrospective survey research showed that the main subjective sense of Yang-deficiency constitution is"cold". The percentage of main factoi with the cold symptom of Yang-deficiency constitution was 97.8%. The con(?)rated distribution parts of the "cold" property were middle energizer (gastral cavity) accounted for 95.7%, hands and feet accounted for 97.8%.2. The relative temperature of upper energizer was significantly higher in yang-deficiency constitution group than the neutral constitution group (P<0.01). The relative temperature of middle and lower energizer was different in the two groups (P<0.05)3. In Yang-deficiency infrared thermal image, the relative temperature of upper energize was higher than middle energizer higher than lower energizer. The upper energizer temperature was higher than the body temperature, presenting of "hot". Middle and lower energizer temperature was lower than the body temperature, presenting of "cold".The comparison with each two was significantly different (P< 0.01). The temperature was decreasing in Sanjiao, with phenomenon of "upper heat and lower cold".4. The relative temperature of Du meridian was significantly higher in yang-deficiency constitution group than the neutral constitution group (P<0.01). The relative temperature of Ren meridian was different in the two groups, without statistical significance (P>0.05). Yang-deficiency Du meridian infrared image:The relative temperature of B part was lower than A part and C part. The temperature of B part was higher than D part. There was statistical significance between ΔT B part and ΔTC part(P<0.01).5. The relative temperature of Guanyuan(RN-4) acupoint was significantly lower in yang-deficiency constitution group than the neutral constitution group(P<0.01). The relative temperature of Weishu(BL-21), Shenshu(BL-23) and Mingmen(DU-4) acupoint was different in the two groups (P<0.05)Conclusion:1. In Yang-deficiency infrared image, the temperature was decreasing in Sanjiao, with phenomenon of "upper heat and lower cold",which was with certain difference from the cognition of TCM that "cold in yang deficiency".2. For the Yang-deficiency crowds, Du merdian infrared image was with "discontinous" phenomenon. There may have specific performance in Guanyuan, Mingmen, Shenshu, Weishu aupoint. |
