Clinical Analysis Of Proximal Femoral Locking Plate Fixation And Artificial Hemiarthroplasty For The Treatment Of Intertrochanteric Fractures In The Elderly

Objective Research the clinical curative effect of the elderly femoral intertrochanteric fractures by treatment between proximal femoral locking plate and artifical hip replacement.Methods 40 cases of elderly patients with femoral intertrochanteric fracture were randomly divided into two groups,each group 20 cases,one group treated by locking plates,and the other group treated by artificial hip replacement. By observing the intraoperative blood loss、operative time、postoperative bed time,postoperative complications、Harris score,compared and analyzed these factors.Results 40 patients were followed for 6 to 18 months(mean 8 months),two groups of comparison,intraoperative blood loss、operative time、postoperative bed time, two groups was no significant difference(p>0.05).Conclusions proximal femoral locking plate internal fixation and artifical hip replacement therapy in elderly femoral intertrochanteric fractures were both the treatment efficacy and was worthy of clinical application.
