A Retrospective Study Of The Distribution Of Pulse Pressure Difference In Primary Hypertension And The Distribution Of Tongue And Pulse In Traditional Chinese Medicine

Objective:To explore the significance of pulse pressure to the primary h ypertension and explore both the common tongue pictures and the common puls e conditions of the primary hypertension and reveal the distribution of ton gue pictures and pulse conditions in different pulse pressure level. Methods:This study used the method of retrospective study, After explain ing the research purpose and the content of the study and signing the infor med consent, we collected the physical examination data of the subjects who participated in the physical examination in the Beijing SHIJITAN hospital.Then we used the Both Arm blood pressure measureing instrument to measure a nd record the subjects’ s SBP,DBP and HR,and calculate the pulse pressure.N ext we observed and recorded the subjects’ s tongue pictures and pulse condi tions.Then we screened these cases strictly in accordance with the inclusio n criteria, exclusion criteria,exclusion criteria,after that,hose cases who met the inclusion criteria were divided into two groups according to the d iagnosis for the primary hypertension(PH),the PH group and the non-hyperten tion group.Base on cases of the PH group and the non-hypertention group,we used the frequency,percentage,composition ratio,chi-square test,t test,rank sum test to analyse the differences of the data between two groups. Conclusion: 1.The PH group’s pulse pressure is more higher than the non-hypertention group’s,and the pulse pressure of the PH group’s cases whose SBP and DBP are controlled in the normal range is also higher than the non-hypertension group’s. 2.The string-like pulse is more likely to appear in the PH group. 3.The red tongue and crimson tongue are both more likely to appear in the PH group.
