Analysis Of Multi-factor Pulse Condition Based On Ancient Literatures

Objective With the method of document research,entering with the point of multifactor pulse condition,tracing and sorting plenty of ancient documents,aims to construct factors database of clinical common multifactor pulse condition,and to refine and normalize the factors of the common multifactor pulse condition,which could provide reliable basis and help for young TCM teachers,students and practitioners to know better about the characteristics of multifactor pulse condition.Methods 1.Systematically collecting and sorting the recording and description about abrupt pulse,knotted pulse,intermittent pulse,moderate pulse and soft pulse,Five pulses of multifactor pulse,we interpret and analyze it,then sort it out by pulse position,pulse rate,pulse length,pulse width,pulse force,pulse rhythm,tensity,fluency of eight factors,as well as input it into Excel,to make the ancient documents information form of pulse condition factors.2.Using SPSS20.0 statistical analysis software,we will analyze statistically the factor information of pulse condition in the descriptions by various TCM doctors in different periods、extract the factors of that five clinical common multifactor pulse condition on the basis of document and statistical results.Results 1.22 representative books about abrupt pulse description were selected.Based on their awareness,we summarized eight factors information.The statistic results show the top two most relevant factors are halt,Irregular pulsation and rapid pulse;2.30 representative books about knotted pulse description were selected,based on their awareness,we summarized 7 factor information.The statistic results show the top three are halt and Irregular,and the slow pulse rate;The doctor’s controversy over the knotted pulse condition is about the slowing and tardy of knotted pulse rate.This controversy is not because of the knotted pulse rate itself,but because of the little distinction between slow pulse and tardy pulse.So many doctors may confuse slowing and tardy;3.27 representative books about intermittent pulse description were selected,based on their awareness,we summarized 10 factor information.The statistic results show the front are long-playing and regular halt.4.23 representative books about moderate pulse description were selected,based on their awareness,we summarized 10 factor information.The statistic results show the top three are there are four pulse beat a respiratory cycle,broad pulse and soft tension.There aroused so many controversies,Some people argue with pulse rate,such as wang shuhe and wu qian.Some people argue about the pulse force,such as zhang jingyue and wu hun.5.13 representative books about soft pulse description were selected,based on their awareness,we summarized 7 factor information.The statistic results show the top three are floating pulse,thready pulse and soft tensity.Conclusion 1.There are two factor information about abrupt pulse.One is rapid pulse and another is Irregular halt,we Know the other expression about abrupt pulse is helpful for our awareness and understand its physical pathological,which is Regular and fast pulse.2.There are two factors information about knotted pulse.One is slow pulse rate,and another is Irregular halt.Successive dynasties got little controversy on the awareness of knotted pulse.3.The factor information of the intermittent pulse has only one point,for the long-playing and regular halt,for the identification of the intermittent pulse mainly emphasizes its halt,the pulse rate can not be required.4.moderate pulse including illness moderate pulse and flat moderate pulse.Illness moderate pulse has two factor information,there are four pulse beat a respiratory cycle and low tension.Flat moderate pulse has three fator information,there are four pulse beat a respiratory cycle,strong pulse force and low tension.These two are distinguished by whether pulse force is strong.MODERATE is used to describe pulse condition contains slow frequency and low tension,but it emphasizes on its relaxing,loose condition,which shouldn’t be confused with intermittent pulse.5.There are four factors information about soft pulse,floating pulse position,fine pulse width,weak pulse force and soft tensity.Successive dynasties TCM doctors got little controversy on the awareness of soft pulse.
