With the popularity of LCD,as an important device,display controller is widely used in the production of human life.Especially the rapid development of electronic products,but also led to the LCD industry forward.Responsible for LCD display,display controller is also becoming increasingly important,the design and optimization has become a hot research.In recent years,LCD has been applied to many areas,but with the development of society,LCD applications differentiation has become increasingly reflected on the display controller requirements are also increasing.Based on the principle of the LCD display and display controller mechanism for the corresponding inquiry,the proposed system design goals multi-channel embedded display controller.In accordance with the design goals proposed display controller based on FPGA design.First performed at the hardware level device design and selection circuit,and then design and implement FPGA programmable logic,then realized within the FPGA MicroBlaze processor software development work.This design of multi-channel embedded display controller Xilinx Virtex 7 series FPGA as the core,supplemented by external input and output circuits to achieve a complex function LCD controller,and proven capabilities to achieve a multi-channel video input and real-time zooming and panning.The controller can simultaneously four video signals displayed on the LCD screen,and can be used alone for any signal all the way to zoom and position,there are good prospects in industry-specific applications.
