| Fan Quan(1916-2000),a famous writer and translator in China,is also the editor of great works in the modern publishing history of our country.He had suffered a lot of misfortunes in his life,and he had successively experienced the period of war in Shanghai,the desolation of the island in Shanghai,the fall of the enemy in Shanghai,the civil war,and so on.He witnessed the prosperity and the depression of Shanghai's publishing industry and the changes in China's political situation changes.Fan Quan committed himself to editing career.He has served as an editor in China-America Daily,Shanghai Yongxiang Press and Shanghai Bookstore Press.He not only edited Spring and Autumn of Literature and Art,which is well known overseas,but also published to fill the modern academic gaps in the Modern Chinese Literature series,and he also edited the Dictionary of Chinese Modern Literature Schools,which exploring the study of the history of modem literature.At the same time,he also published a literary book entitled The Culture of the Elderly Lives in Life,,which reflects the holographic image of the elderly in the modern literary world.He also took the lead in opening up the topics of Taiwan literary research and the topics of the earlier systematic study of Lu Xun's research.He has suffered tribulations in decades of his editorial career.He made a great important contribution for organizing and disseminating excellent culture,inspiring wisdom of people in the era of upheaval and propagandizing motherland and national culture.As the second generation of editors who was born after the May 4th new culture Movement,Fan Quan accumulated a wealth of editing practical practices and made outstanding achievements in his editing career.Fan Quan made his own unique editing style and thoughts.Open Fan Quan editorial books,periodicals,in the content selection,layout design,directory arrangement,etc.with Fan Quan's own distinctive editing features.Under the current open environment of publishing,we should have an objective and justly view Fan Quan's editor practice and thought,learning the successful practical experience of his editing,understanding the practical significance of his editorial thinking,which can provide useful references for current editorial work.There are four chapters in this paper.The first chapter about the introduction to the research of the topic of origin and significance,the current situation and the review of the subject research,the thoughts and methods of the research and the innovation points of this paper.The second chapter focuses on the Fan Quan's editing practical practice.This chapter is mainly through Fan Quan's life experiences,editor career and his main achievements to comb Fan Quan's editing history of his whole life,then summarizes the features of his editing.Fan Quan lives in the bloody turmoil of the motherland era,this complex era of cultural environment created Fan Quan scholars,translators,editors three identity.Combined with his editorial practice,the author divides his editorial career into three stages:studying,working and returning to the literary world.It mainly introduces six major achievements of Fan Quan's editing career and then extracts the features of his editing.The third chapter is about the thoughts of Fan Quan's editorial.The third chapter abstracts the important editing thoughts which are formed five aspects:editing concept,content selection,layout design,author awareness and reader's concept in the editing work.The fourth chapter is discuss the realistic significance of Fan Quan 's editorial thought.which objectively and impartially evaluate the progress and limitation of Fan Quan's editorial thought.We should not only see the shortcomings of Fan Quan's editorial thoughts,but also be sure the values of its editorial thought and study their experience of excellent editors,tries to provide some enlightenments for editors of the present by combining with the important editorial thoughts that is reflected by Fan Quan in his editing activities. |
