In the traditional mechanical stirred reverberation chamber,the single transmitting antenna is mostly used as the excitation source in the cavity.The increase of the volume of the reverberation chamber and the high field uniformity required by the measurement make the single transmitting antenna unable to complete the reverberation well.It has been shown that the introduction of dual transmitting antennas in a mechanically stirred reverberation chamber can effectively improve the field uniformity.However,the excitation of multiple transmit antennas will inevitably make the electromagnetic field environment in the workspace more complicated.How to optimize the field uniformity of the reverberation chamber under multi-transmitting antenna has become the focus of the research.In view of the above problems,based on the previous studies,this paper studies the field characteristics of mechanical stirred reverberation chamber with multiple transmitting antennas,and proceeds from the following three aspects:(1)Using Python to realize the automatic step and simulation of the stirrer,the analysis and calculation of the simulation output and the field uniformity optimization based on the genetic algorithm,the semi-automatic simulation and optimization system of the reverberation chamber based on genetic algorithm is realized,which is compared with the traditional manual simulation,it is estimated that each saves more than 30%of the time.(2)Based on the above reverberation chamber simulation and optimization system,the influence of the placement of dual transmit antennas on the field uniformity of the reverberation chamber is studied.A method based on genetic algorithm to optimize the optimal position of the dual transmit antenna is proposed.After optimization,the field uniformity of the workspace in the reverberation chamber is improved from 3.04dB to 2.08dB.(3)In the double transmitting antenna mechanical stirred reverberation chamber,the influence of the workspace range on the field uniformity is discussed.Based on the genetic algorithm,a precise determination method of the reverberation chamber workspace range is proposed.Within the workspace,Uniformity improved from 3.85dB to 2.11dB.
