With the rapid development of Remote Sensing Science in China,the monitoring of the target scene by remote sensing satellites has become an important means to improve remote sensing service ability.Because infrared imaging system can monitor objects clearly in bad weather such as rain and snow and dark night,remote sensing satellites mainly use infrared band to detect.The aurora is an important remote sensing satellite background radiation,and the infrared radiation of the aurora will cause certain interference to the target monitoring of the remote sensing satellite,Therefore,a large amount of aurora infrared images need to be provided in the development of remote sensing satellites to test the satellite monitoring ability.Due to the limitation of time,cost and shooting conditions,it is often impossible to test the satellite's ability to monitor satellite images by infrared images.In order to solve this problem,this paper analyzes the effects of different infrared bands,camera resolutions and camera positions Infrared images were simulated to provide test data for satellite development.This paper mainly studies the infrared characteristics of the aurora and infrared image simulation,including the morphological simulation of aurora,infrared radiation calculation of aurora and infrared image simulation.Because the spatial aurora shows auroral oval shape,so the auroral morphological simulation is to simulate auroral oval,using the fitting formula to get the boundary of different auroral geomagnetic index then,combined with the auroral electron beam along the molecule in the atmosphere and the earth's magnetic field and atom collision trajectory simulation of auroral rays,and finally get the geometric model of auroral oval;In this paper,we calculated the number density of vibration excited by the aurora radiation through the photochemical reaction of aurora and the molecules and atoms in the atmosphere,and then calculated the radiation intensity of the aurora infrared band based on the radiation intensity under the non-local thermodynamic equilibrium.Aurora Infrared image simulation is developed by OpenGL and C/C++.The software is able to output corresponding aurora infrared images under different input conditions.It has certain application value...
