Study On Exchange And Cooperation About Archives Resources Between Archives And Libraries

As an archival information resource center for public use,archives are supposed to provide a variety of archival information.The development of era,the emergence of new ideas,and the change of users needs put forward new requirements and challenges for cultural institutions,especially to the archives.As a public cultural facility,the socialization degree of archives still cannot meet the need which is urgent to improve.Cross-border cooperation provides a good opportunity for archives to seek a breakthrough to become pro social.In this way,the library is a good choice because it is facing the same situation as archives that to satisfy the increasingly diversified needs of society.Besides,archives and libraries are from the same root.They are all carriers of human civilization.They spread the seeds of civilization side by side.Above all,archives can develop archival material cooperation and communication with library due to their closely connection.This paper firstly finds the archives resources with variety,quantity,quality and characteristics in those main public libraries and university libraries which is the major cause of carrying out exchanges and cooperation between archives and libraries.Then,the factors that influence exchanges and cooperation between archives and library are analyzed,and puts forward safeguard measures and specific ways for the exchanges and cooperation.After all,the author summarizes the experience in the process,to promote the development of archives.
