At present,laser detection technology is widely applied to under-water detection,meteorological monitoring and many other fields.The range-gated laser active detection is developed in a pattern that using electronic gate to split the whole imaging area to many smaller imaging area pieces which represent different distances in the whole detection process.Using this new system can reduce the light scattering effect and Scintillation effect of light during the laser transmission in the atmosphere and increase the signal-to-noise ratio of the imaging system.Besides,the serial number of the images involves the distance information of our detection and we can dispose this information that can be helpful for the 3D reconstruction of the detection target.Above all,this paper will research the whole range-gated laser active detection system.At first,it will establish the time-domain model and echo energy spatial distribution model based on the DLOS method.And we also will simulate the results of some simple three-dimensional targets that compared with the MCM method to make sure the correctness and accuracy of our simulation algorithm;Then we will simulate the results of some simple three-dimensional targets in various time input parameters of the laser system and analyze the results in different input parameters and we also use the centroid method to try to reconstruct the detection targets by using a serial of images we get.To analysis the laser transmission property in the whole detective process,we will calculate the optical property of some typical aerosol particles by using Electromagnetism method that will become the database in the later simulation of range-gated laser active detection;Aimed at the complicated three-dimensional targets and atmospheric circ?mstances,we will establish a real complicated three-dimensional target that represents the buildings near our university.And we will simulate the imaging results in various conditions including the different kinds of transmission medium,different laser types and different time input parameters.Finally,we will compare the differences of these imaging results and try to use these images to reconstruct the complicated detection three-dimensional target and judge the reconstruction quality under different simulation conditions.The research will provide the simulation data for the range-gated laser active detection and also can be the scientific evidences for the design of the detection system.
