At present, laser detection is widely applied to many field i.e. land resources survey, forest fire warning and Sea rescue, due to its specificcharacter of laser detection. With the development of related technologies and the growth of the actual needs, how to achieve active detection imaging in harsh weather conditions and how to enhance the image quality of the imaging at the same time has become one of the problems which needs to be solved in related technical field.Nowadays, there have been many constraints i.e. high input, long cycle and high risk. It has become a necessary method to achieve detection system testing and design optimization with numerical simulation analysis. With modular ideas adopted, laser active detection imaging simulationanalyzed the characterization of the physical characteristics and their related parameters, and then a system simulation model including laser radar, atmospheric transport, the acquisition target module according was established. In foreign countries, a lot of simulation software has been developed which was aimed at laser detection imaging system, but in the information available, only thefunction and the image simulation results of the simulation software was introduced with its core algorithm, mathematical model and the basis of simulation not mentioned. However the research about laser detection imaging simulation in China is mainly about the analysis of laser detection system performancesand telling the numerical results and the relationship few simulated images offered. In addition, the imaging simulation models developed at present is mainly aimed at two-dimensional detection simulation, and there is rare research on three-dimensional complex target detection, which has become problems need to be solved urgently in the whole world.In conclusion, in this paper we will do following researches: Firstly, we will make a improvement on traditional radiative transfer calculation method-LOS, developed a kind of radiative transfer calculation method which is fitted laser detection imaging simulation well and establish a laser active detection full link simulation model; Next, we will make some related simulations which is aimed at two-dimensional simple target and three-dimensional complex target detection, and then we will compare its results with those of MCM to demonstrate the correctness and the applicability of DLOS; At the same time, we study on the impact of the changes of optical thickness, divergent angle, pulse width, imaging array and etc on the effects of imaging for two-dimensional target detect, and recearch the performance of three-dimensional target detect in various atmospheric circumstances to give the optimal detection band; And then we establish inhomogeneous media detection imaging simulation model and study on influence of inhomogeneous media imaging results with the actual distribution of atmospheric agents taken into consideration. Finally, we will get our research expanded to the imaging simulation models in any detection orientation to offer reference and basis for the development and optimization design of laser detecting system.
