Because of its high energy density,long cycling life,green environmental protection and many other advantages,lithium batteries have widely used in the field of new energy vehicles.However,the chemical properties of lithium batteries are not consistent,stability and security issues,so that the battery management system is indispensable.Based on the technical characteristics of lithium battery,according to the current development trend of new energy vehicles and vehicle networking,this paper constructs a general framework of the network management system for power lithium battery,and focuses on the design of battery management system and low self discharge rate control strategy.Firstly,the network management system of power lithium battery was constructed according to the requirement of the new energy vehicle and the component elements of the vehicle network.Different from the traditional car networking system which designed forimprove the quality of service,the system takes into account the improvement of user experience and battery technology.The system includes four parts:the cloud management platform,the management client,the client and the battery management system.The Network Management System has a clear top-level architecture,well-defined features and scalability and other technical characteristics,can be applied to all types of mobile networking,car networking surveillance.Secondly,according to the charging and discharging protection,information collection and Internet communication requirements,the design and implementation of battery management system are studied.According to the function of the system is divided into data acquisition and processing module,control module and communication module three parts.At the same time,the SOC estimation algorithm of battery management system is studied.The test results show that the system can make a timely and effective management to the abnormal situation of the battery packs,the SOC estimation error is less than 4%and the performance of the design is stable.Finally,according to the technical characteristics of the high rate of self discharge of lithium battery and the application background of the vehicle,the control strategy of low self discharge rate of the battery management system is studied.The method according to the work,listen,and dormancy of battery management system in three different status,by switching data acquisition and processing module and the bluetooth communication patterns of work mode and control parameters of each module to achieve the purpose of low self-discharge rate.This design of power lithium battery Network Management System successfully applied in chaowei new energy vehiclesmanagement,the result show that the system have advanced architecture design,functional and stable performance.
