With the emergence of smart phones based on the Android system, it has beencontinuously improved and rapidly developed. The phones based on the Android systemare used by more and more people. It has a lot of functions, such as: shopping, chattingwith our friends, playing games and so on. But it still has some deficiencies, such asheavy power consumption and the nondurable battery. These problems are becomingmore obvious than before. And it has brings more inconvenient to the user. As we allknown the system itself provides a low-battery alert and the information of the battery,but these functions are relatively simple and the operation is not convenient to users.Therefore we should try our best to make some further improvement. This subject ismainly to solve these problems said above, and the subject’s title is “the development ofintelligent battery management software based on the Android mobile phones”. In thesubject the hardware platform has been built based on Real210Android developmentboard of Guangzhou huatian technology, and the version of the Android operatingsystem is2.3.1.The subject is related to the Android system architecture from the driver in thebottom to the top of the application layer. As we all known, android system has fourmajor components (Activity, BroadcastReceiver, Service and Content Provider), thisresearch involves three of them, these are Activity, BroadcastReceiver, Service. Thissoftware can make it more convenient for users to get the current information about thebattery, open and close the lower battery alert, dynamically adjust the trigger values forthe low battery alert, get the current consumption of each part, and achieve the functionof one click optimization. The function of one click optimization contains turning offWireless Network (it contains WI-FI and Data network), decreasing the brightness ofthe screen, and turning off Bluetooth. This software not only heavily meets the user’scontrol of the battery, but also makes some power saving when the user needs. So it canbring great value to the users.Finally, the smart battery management software has been installed on the Real210development board and done a series of tests throw the screen and the output windowwhich name is logcat. The result has showed that the software has reached the originaldesign.
