With the rapid development of Internet of things,the application and popularization of network remote monitoring technology is promoted and the intelligent manufacturing level and market competition ability of the enterprise are improved.Faced with the wave of the industry 4.0,many small and medium enterprises are also eager to be able to use the Internet of things platform to accelerate the upgrading of enterprises,but the lack of funds,technology and talent is a very serious question.To solve this problem,this paper presents the research and design of RTU system based on cloud platform.So that enterprises through this RTU,the data collected on-site can be easily transferred to the cloud to be storage and realize remote control,which reduces the company's dependence on capital,technology and talent to ensure the safety,reliability and analysis of the data.The thesis firstly studies the history of the domestic and foreign remote monitoring,current situation and development trend,put forward the remote monitoring system architecture based on cloud platform.The system is divided into four layers: the monitored device,the front-end access device RTU,the Ethernet server and the host computer monitoring software.And via the combination of the network server technology,socket programming,protocol analysis and embedded technology researched and developed a RTU system based on cloud platform to achieve real-time monitoring of production process.The hardware design of RTU mainly takes the S3C2440 processor as the core of the system,which is connected with the power supply circuit,the network communication circuit,the serial communication circuit,the external watchdog circuit and so on.The data communication between the cloud server and the target device is realized,which has laid a foundation for the analysis of data call.The software design of the system mainly uses the Linux operating system as the development platform and the kernel is configured and cut,and on which the driver and application program are developed.The focus is on the socket network programming,the protocol conversion between RTU and the monitored equipment and to establish the connection and data transmission between RTU and the network server and finally completed the design host computer software via MFC and the deployment of cloud server and SQL database.The RTU in this system is in accordance with national standards GB/T17626-2006 and GB/T 15969-2008 finished the test of the national authority.Work environment,sine wave oscillation and radio-frequency electromagnetic interference,EMC,electrostatic discharge immunity,anti EFT,anti surge and high frequency magnetic field immunity test and other indicators are in line with the requirements of industrial application.The whole system is stable and reliable and the product has been transferred to a PLC factory in Shanghai to produce and sale.
