Preliminary Study On Color Appearance Model For Mobile Terminals

People of various kinds of sensory information from the outside world nearly 2/3 is obtained through the eye,which makes the image shows became the most important way to obtain information,which is to promote a display technology research and development.Mobile terminal,also known as the mobile communication terminal,refers to a computer in the mobile device it can be used also in the state.With the rapid science and technology,the use of mobile terminal equipment throughout the country,to become today's mainstream mobile terminal display device,mobile terminal manufacturers more competitive,which makes the picture reproduction capability to become the key to stand out.Nowadays,although the method in view of the display device to improve the image quality recreating the color method become more and more mature,but are limited to specific fixed environment.Over the years the Way to improve picture quality of the mainstream program has been using ICC color management CIEXYZ or CIELAB color space which are as the color space conversion connection.And based on the CIELAB color space or CIEXYZ color management is a measure of the color stimulus,and it has nothing to do with the use of specific equipment.However,perceived color is formed not only by the human eye and visual stimulation of cells receive the color itself,but also to the surrounding illumination light,background color,surrounding environment,Even in the same media,because of different environment factors,the same color to stimulate the human eye color feeling will be different.So the existing color management mechanism for mobile terminal is no longer applicable.The appearance of color appearance model become the key to solve the problem.The appearance of color appearance model break the observation conditions,,the limitation of the media,in the representation of a color and calculation,as long as the two kinds of color of color appearance parameters are the same,no matter how other observation conditions,color appearance is exactly the same.This is the ultimate goal of modern image reproduction-mobile terminal color management can guarantee consistent image and copy the source image color appearance.This paper is based on the characteristics of color appearance model,first of all,through the reading of vast amount of literature in-depth research on color appearance model to understand the current mainstream mobile terminal,including its system,display characteristics,color rendering principle,etc.;The theoretical study of the first of three pre-selected color appearance model is suitable for mobile terminals;color appearance model for integration of environmental considerations into account among master quantify environmental factors,and their access methods;According to the selected three kinds of color appearance model,using Java programming will actually now selected on the basis of the application of color management in mobile terminal,nd test their effectiveness,and then selected the most suitable for mobile terminal color appearance model for color management,color appearance model is proposed for mobile terminal,mobile terminal for the further research of color appearance model provides the experimental basis.
