With the development of information technology, the construction of the data link is an important guarantee for the information warfare, which the most typical one is the series of the Link that developed by NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) countries. Link-22 data link is a data-medium tactical data link with the characteristic of anti-interference,confidentiality, reliability and agility. Due to the blockade of the related technology, the civil has lack of the research of the Link-22 data link at present. Undert the application backgroud of the Link-22 data link,the paper analysises the network synchronization algorithm and dynamic slot assignment protocol for the Link-22 data link.The paper carries on the summary of the Link-22 data link,and introduces the system configuration, the communicaition specification (including the technical characteristics and the data standard), and the features of the network structure in detail, and then compares the performance of the Link-11, Link-16, and Link-22 data link, which lays a theoretical foundation for the following research.To the requirements of the synchronization accuracy at 100 microsecond level for the various members of the Link-22 data link at TDMA conmunication system, the RTPT (Round Trip Precision Timing) algorithm is proposed in this paper under the advantages and disadvantages bewteen the RTT (Round Trip Timing) and PTP (Precision Time Synchronization Protocol) synchronization algorithm. In order to make future improvement on the time synchronization precision for the Link-22 data link at TDMA conmunication system,the paper filters the error that can not be avoided by the RTPT algorithm combined with the Kalman Filter, which based on the state space equations. And the correctness of the KF and RTPT synchronization algorithm is verified by the simulation experiments.Then, the ITE-TDMA(Idle Timeslot Exchange-TDMA) is proposed in this paper according to the shortage of the time slot for the Link-22 data link, which for improving the slot utilization and for reducing the message delay time, and then analysises the time slot evaluation method through the queuing theory.Finally, this paper builds the Link-22 data link system through the OMNeT++ platform,and respectively uses the fixed TDMA protocol based on the priority and the ITE-TDMA protocol, for comparative analysising the message queue waiting time delay, end-to-end delay,and the slot utilization under the two different procotol for Link-22 data link, to comfirm that the ITE-TDMA procotol can improve the slot utilization and reduce the message delay for the Link-22 data link system under the burst packets.
