In recent years, wireless network data services including multimedia services?high-speed broadband services were developing rapidly, these applications require a network with low latency, high throughput, high bandwidth, etc. In the traditional single-channel Ad Hoc network, the half duplex transceiver was used to send and receive data, so within the communication range of the node receive and transmit data can not be performed simultaneously. At the same time, due to restrictions of Shannon formula, the network capacity can not be exceeded. In the multi-channel network, as a result of the use of multiple channels and multiple interfaces to send and receive data at the same time, the capacity of wireless networks can be greatly improved,in order to get a better communication system performance, the multi-channel technology have attracted more and more attention.Firstly, the hot issues of the multi-channel routing protocol and the key technical of designing multi-channel protocol are summarized. The performance of existing single-channel and multi-channel routing protocol was analyzed; Secondly, In order to better adapt to the real radio propagation environment, Nakagami channel model was added based on the NS2. Then several classic multi-channel model such as Hyacinth model, Ramon model,MMSM model, were carefully analyzed, the extension of multi-channel and multi-interface was made on the basis of Ramon model; Thirdly, In order to make it more suitable for complex multichannel environment, combined with a multi-channel environment perception and link stability routing mechanism protocol MCRP (Multi-channel cross-layer routing protocol) were proposed. MCRP protocol select the optimal route by estimating the stability of the link lifetime, combining with the principle of minimum hop and stability principles to choose the best route. Environmentally-aware multi-channel assignment was used,by making node selection to ensure a smooth channel minimum signal to interference ratio of communication as a communication channel to increase network capacity and to improve the utilization of the network. Finally, the proposed routing protocols MCRP were tested in the static and dynamic scenes and then compared with AODV routing protocol. Simulation results show that MCRP routing protocol in throughput, end to end packet delivery ratio, end to end average delay are better than AODV, more suitable for mobile multi-hop Ad Hoc networks.
