The Research On The Present Situation And Development Path Of Paper Media's In-depth Reports In The New Media Environment

The arrival of new media,brought us an unprecedented information explosion era,microblogging,WeChat and other social media has become the new favorite,people do not have to wait for the fixed content from the newspaper or television,on the contrary,just open the new Media,we can get any news you want.Behind the changes of getting information,is the traditional paper media's inevitable decline,even as the depth elite section of the of the paper media,the in-depth report also suffered difficulties.However,the decline in paper media's in-depth reports does not mean that the social value of in-depth reports is reduced,on the contrary,under the complex communication environment,the report with depth and breadth is even more precious.Based on this judgment,the author explores the causes of the paper media's predicament and its possible development path on the basis of literature reading,case analysis and in-depth interview,so as to provide reference for the transformation and development of paper media's in-depth reports.First of all,the author has analysed the definition and the development track of in-depth reports and to determine the scope of the study and the historical position of the in-depth reports.On this basis,I has further clarified the function and status depth of in-depth reports to prove the value of the study.Then,the author has analyzed the paper media's predicament and its reasons from the following five aspects: First,the overall decline in paper media led to a deep decline in the in-depth reports,due to the decline in revenue,many paper media had to cut the budget of in-depth reports.Secondly,the change of information receiving mode is also one of the important reasons for the predicament of paper media's in-depth reports.The popularization of new media has led to the change of people's reading habits.The original ritualized reading is declining and in-depth reports are increasingly being ignored.Thirdly,the departure of talent reporters also led directly to the decline of the paper media's in-depth reports,the less talent,the declining of in-depth reports,and thus the forming a vicious circle;Fourth,The reduction of the report space,making the heavy report more and more rare,the impact of in-depth reports also weakened;Finally,the transfer of public opinion space and the ability to set their own agenda also led to the predicament of in-depth reports today.From the analysis of this part,we can easily find that the predicament of in-depth reports is omni-directional,which contains both macro-level management issues,but also paper media technology limitations,more new media impact under the operating difficulties.Therefore,exploring the future development of paper media's in-depth reports become a problem to be solved.Based on the above analysis,the author makes a study on the possible development path of the paper media's in-depth reports from the aspects of content production,channel development,exploration of business value and broadening discourse space,and draws the conclusion that in the new media era,the paper media's in-depth reports will not sink in this way,although in the future it will experience the changes of t forms or carriers,but after all,as long as the effective profit model and operational mechanism being estabilished,the paper media's in-depth reports will rise again,become a strong competitive power in the new media environment.
