Research On The Public Information Service Of University Library

With the progress of the times and the development of science and technology,Information has become a link to link all aspects of social life,informat ion has adjusted and controlled the whole social activit ies.people enter the era of information.Although people are in the environment of information clutter,disorder and explosion,information has become an important strategic resource for people.However,The service of university library has changed from the traditional paper service mode to the information service mode,and the servic e concept has changed from "literature centered" to "people oriented,readers first" service concept.In the face of the general public's diversified,personalized,mult i-level information demand.As a part of the public service system of university librar y with its rich collection information resources,professional service personnel,advanced technology and equipment have the ability and obligat ion to meet the public good diversified,personalized,multi-level information needs.This is the function of public information service of university library.Meanwhile,at present,the government of our country is in the transition from the government to the service oriented government.Public information service is the inevitable requirement of the service type government,and it can meet the demand of the public information.However,our government is in the public information service,which hinders the construction of the sunshine government.The public information service of University Library in our country can make up for the deficiency of the government in the information service,at the same time,it also promotes the development of university library itself.The author combined with the theoretical background of the service oriented government.First is to collect,collate some of the domestic and foreign research literature,and then on the current situation of China's university library opening up research,and then to collate,analyze and summarize the problems existing in China's University Librar ies.An d analyze and summarize,draw lessons from the successful experience of foreign countries,the development of China's University Library of some scientific and feasible measures.This paper is divided into seven chapters.The first part is the introduction.This paper discusses the research background,purpose and signif icance of the study;the research literatures at home and abroad;and introduces the research content,methods and innovation.The second part is the core concept and theoretical basis.This paper discusses the university library,public information service and the concept of government public service theory,this paper lays a theoretical foundation for the writing.The third part is the public information service of university library.The third part is an overview of the social public information service of university library.This paper introduces the history and orientation of the library,the nature of the university library,and discusses the feasibility and necessity of the social public information service of university library.The fourth part is the current situation and problems of the public information service of University Libraries in China.F irstly introduce the public informat ion service of University Library in China,and then through the analysis of China's "211 Project" universities library information service present situation summed up China's University Library in the public information service deficiencies.The fifth part is to learn from the successful experience of foreign university library.First,this paper introduces the status of foreign university library public information service,and then analyzes the experience of our university library.The sixth part is the suggestion of improving the social public information service of University Library in China.In view of the problems existing in China's university libraries,and draw on the successful experience of foreign countries,this is a practical and feasible countermeasures to the public information service of University Librar ies in China.The seventh part,conclusion and outlook,this part summarizes the whole work of the thesis,and looks forward to the future research work.
