In recent years, with the rapid development of communication technology, the requirement for communication is getting more and more higher. The status of deve lopment charged from the previous narrowband communication system to the broadb and communication system which can support multimedia services such as video an d voice. For the reason of fixed modulation type and transmission bandwidth, tradit ional broadband communication system can only transfer information in one or seve ral fixed frequency bands. The communication can not be carried out smoothly whe n the frequency band is disturbed by other signals or the modulation type and trans mission bandwidth is not suitable for the electromagnetic environment. This paper a dvanced an adaptive broadband spectrum communication system based on HackRF to s olve above problems. HackRF is a software radio equipment Compared to the univers al software radio peripheral (USRP), there is great advantage for HackPF in price an d the scope of application. The broadband communication system firstly make a detecti on for the frequency spectrum through HackRF in real-time, the spectrum data will b e treated and analyzed automatically to obtain the optimal transmission band. Then t he HackRF will be used again to perform the broadband communication by the opt imal transmission band which being obtained in the first step. If there are other de vices or unknown signals interfere with the transmission band obtained, it will autom atically converted to other bands to ensure the communication proceed successfully,that reflects a strong adaptability.The adaptive broadband spectrum communication system based on HackRF has the advantages of simple structure,low cost and easy realization. When we carry out a communication, we can make a detection for the frequency spectrum and choose the optimal transmission band in advance. The communication system can be used in Maritime Communication and complex electromagnetic environment for communication with high quality and spectrum adaptive capacity.
