With the continuous development of economy and technology, there has been a significant increase in the scale and standard of modern teaching, especially the professional education, which, inevitably, poses higher demand on advanced modern teaching methods.In the fields of both professional and social examinations, there are numerous front-line educators who has accumulated plenty of experience and teaching materials, including some high-quality papers, which, however, are hard to preserve. Apart from that, there are problems with the waste of manpower, material and financial resources in the process of traditional paper setting. The adoption of computer as a tool to manage test library system has become a major force in promoting teaching reform, which can greatly reduces the workload and accordingly improve the efficiency and performance. A scientific, convenient and complete test library system can be used as a helpful tool to collect exam questions, generate test paper automatically and manage test papers.Aiming at the design and realization of a paperless test library system, this system is characterized by its core functions, including user management, rights assignment, system setting, test paper saving, typing and test paper management. Based on these functions, the system embodies flexible strategies and complete process in generating and managing test paper. Different from traditional methods of generating test paper, the strategies of the system can effectively regulate the repetition rate of papers in the same examination room, which is especially in respect of the features of practical examination room in social examinations and thereby the effective use of test library, higher efficiency in generating test paper and high quality, to satisfy the demand of test paper generating of different types.The system designed in this dissertation is based on the Browser/server mode with Java language and run on the browser all the time. Spring MVC+Hibernate pattern is adopted to develop the system and Oracle is used as a database management system to store and manage data. Tomcat is selected as the web server, and the background development is mainly completed on STS.
