The Driver Development For SM502 Graphics Card Based On WindML Component Of VxWorks

VxWorks operating system has been widely used in highly demanding real-time areas-communications, military, aviation, aerospace, for its good reliability and excellent real-time performance. WindML (Wind Media Library) is the multimedia applications development packages designed specifically for the VxWorks embedded operating system. The research of WindML components has a strong theoretical research value and market application prospects.The topic takes a graphic display module as a research object. The project uses the VxWorks5.5 operating system and Freescale MPC8270 processor, in order to realize the low-power SM502 graphics drive based on WindML3.0 component. The project includes:building VxWorks embedded system platform, connecting the processor and GPU through PCI bus interface, achieving WindML component graphics drives, such as transplanting storage systems drive under different architectures, font drive, double buffer drive, anti-aliasing capabilities drive, Bezier curve drawing drive, text rendering drive and other functional modules graphics drive.Upon completing the above drives, the test application is needed used to test the above graphics drive functions, to ensure perfect performance of each drive modules. The system achieves good operating results, and has been successfully applied to a test equipment for its stability and reliability.
