Design And Implementation Of Management Platform Of Student Work In Vocational Colleges

With the enrollment expansion in education and especially the greater mobility of vocational college students, the management of students from vocational colleges becomes more complicated, cumbersome and difficult. Besides, following the original management mode, such disadvantages as information transmission delay and communication inconvenience have occurred in student management. Based on the above factors and aiming at the current situation of management of students from vocational colleges, a student management working platform is designed.This thesis first illustrates the main content and research status of vocational college student management and analyzes the significance of designing the student management platform. Furthermore, this thesis also introduces the Microsoft Visual Studio 2012, Microsoft SQL Server 2008, ASP.NET technology, database access strategies and the theoretical knowledge of application framework, thus laying a solid foundation for the analysis and design of the system. Then the feasibility and requirements of the platform are analyzed so as to write the requirement documents of the target system in terms of function and performance. According to the above requirement analysis, the system is designed, which includes such aspects as module division of system functions, functional processes, database analysis, data entity connection and database table structure. On the basis of system design, encoding implementation of the interface and functional modules is conducted and finally the system is tested comprehensively through simulation run.This system is an information platform suitable for the management of students from vocational colleges. The main characters of this system include student office administrator, counselor and student, and different characters have different function models. With the aid of the system, the work efficiency of student management is expected to be improved significantly. The innovation points of the system lie in that it perfects the workflow of the traditional student management systems, thus making the communication between students and counselors more convenient, and it also can be combined with office system, thus transmitting the information submitted by students to counselors more timely. At present, this system works well. The functions and business applications of the system can not only improve management efficiency,but also are conducive to the advancement of college informatization. Besides, it also can be widely used.
