An Analysis Of Family Factors In The Process Of Political Socialization Of Middle School Students

Political socialization of middle school students has an important influence on maintaining national stability and social development as an important part of the political socialization of citizens.In order to understand the current national identity and political party identity of middle school students and factors influence them,In this study,961 middle school students in 5 middle schools in Shandong Province were surveyed by questionnaire.In this study,the family factor as an independent variable,with national identity and political party identity as the dependent variable.Further,national identity is divided into two sub-dimensions: national pride and national sentiment;party identity is divided into three sub-dimensions: deindividuation identity,attraction identity and constructive identity.The data analysis shows that:First,the level of middle school students' current national identity and party identity is generally higher,and they are full of "critical and constructive" in the love of the party and the country.Second,father played an important role in the national identity of middle school students.Students whose father often at home show a higher degree of patriotic feelings in the constructive patriotism and cultural pride.Thirdly,whether middle school students can participate in family decisions and generate practical influence can positively predict the level of national identity and party identity of middle school students.Fourth,the consistency of father's political views with the official media has a significant impact on national identity and party identity of middle school students.Fifth,the relationship between parents and their children will positively affect the formation of middle school students' political values.The closer the relationship between parents and their children,the higher the degree of national identity and party identity of middle school students.Sixth,the intimate relationship between father with his children will strengthen the influence of father's political cognition on the national identity and party identity of middle school students.Seventh,Regression analysis showed that the explanatory rates of family,school and media for middle school students were 5.2%,1.1% and 0.7%,respectively,in political pride.The family factors have a fundamental impact,n addition,the school and the media also played an important role on the national identity and party identity of middle school students.
