Research On The Intervention Of Judicial Social Workers In Community Correction Of Juvenile Delinquency

The number of juvenile delinquency cases has been rising since the twentieth Century,which has become one of the most important social problems all over the world.In the era which focus on human freedom and overall development,the criminal justice system is also changing constantly,transformed from the original retaliatory sanctions into improved correction gradually,mitigation of punishment idea has been accepted by every country in the world,therefore,under the influence of this theory,people are constantly exploring the suitable corrective system and mode for their own countries and the districts.In 2003,China began to carry out the pilot work of community correction,in the past over 10 years,the community correction work has got good performance and been in good development situation and has accumulated a lot of practical experience,which gradually formed a community correction mode with local characteristics.However,compared with the United States,Britain,Japan and other developed countries and regions,the study of juvenile delinquency community correction is still in the initial stage for China,especially in the professional community correction of juvenile delinquency,it has a long way to go.This paper uses literature analysis,observation,interviews and other research methods.On the basis of the successful experience of the youth community correction which took place in domestic and foreign developed countries and regions,based on a typical city of grassroots judicial offices,and with the situation of grassroots judicial offices of juvenile delinquency cases correction as an example to discuss and analyze the status quo of juvenile delinquency community correction work at the grassroots.Through the intervention of necessity and feasibility analysis of juvenile delinquency community correction to the judicial social work,combined with the situation of juvenile delinquency community correction in H city,I will elaborate the question with the form of judicial intervention in the case of QQ where exist in juvenile delinquency community correction,and then put forward the difficulties of current judicial social work intervention teenagers and measures of community correction.I hope this study can make up for the deficiencies in the current community correction of juvenile delinquency and promote the institutionalization of judicial social work intervention in juvenile delinquency community correction.
