In 2014,the State Council launched a new round of reform targeting at the systems of examination and enrollment.One of the top priorities is to implement the Academic Proficiency Test of high school which is still in the pilot work.The Ministry of Education has also introduced specific and distinctive suggestions for the Academic Proficiency Test of high school.Besides,Hubei Province announced the concrete ways for it in September,2016.In other words,from national level to the local level,the arrangements for the Academic Proficiency Test of high school has already been carried out.But how can those counties and cities in grass-roots,as the executive power,make a good organization of the Academic Proficiency Test of high school? And that is the question that this research attends to answer.This paper first reviews the references of the academic evaluation system of ordinary senior high school in China and clarifies the importance of investigating the new curriculum reform of ordinary general senior high school.Based on the X city of Hubei Province,this research has carried on the field investigation to the 5 general senior high schools of X City,surveyed the implementation of the new curriculum reform in ordinary high school,collected a great deal of teaching text materials,and carried on questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews to the teachers and managerial personnel to understand their opinions and suggestions on the Academic Proficiency Test of ordinary senior high school.Finally,this study puts forward some suggestions on how to promote the examination of academic proficiency of ordinary senior high schools in the basic-level counties and cities.This thesis is composed of five parts:Chapter 1: Introduction.This paper puts forward the main problems of this research,expounds the reasons and significance of the research,systematically collects relevant literatures,summarizes the domestic Academic Proficiency Test,foreign high school graduation examination and other topics,and clarifies the research methods and research ideas of the study.Chapter 2: Through the literature research,the review of the documents,events,etc.on our high school graduation examination and Academic Proficiency Test of high school,this study believes that they are the relation of the inheritance and development from the ability of examination to the test of learning.Based on different standards,all the evaluation,feedback and monitor of school management and student learning reflects the exploration of institutionalization of the academic evaluation of general high school in China.Chapter 3: This research makes a field investigation on the implementation of the new curriculum reform in five ordinary middle schools in X City.This chapter first gives a brief explanation of the new curriculum reform in Hubei Province,and then reports the results of field research from the aspects of curriculum establishment,allocation of teaching staff,teaching facilities,academic evaluation,graduation qualification and curriculum reform management and so on.Chapter 4: This paper makes a questionnaire survey on teachers in X city,mainly from the non-college entrance examination subjects teaching,academic level examination organization and other topics to understand the teachers' cognition and attitude.Chapter 5: The fifth chapter will focus on the field research of the new curriculum reform and the questionnaires of academic achievements for teachers.Based on the research results,this article will propose the concrete advice for grass-roots to carry out the Academic Proficiency Test from three aspects which are respectively governments of counties and cities,the education departments and the high schools.County high school wants to do a good job in academic examinations,not only on the academic proficiency test to talk about the examination,but should starts from the implementation of the new high school curriculum reform to increase publicity,to promote the concept of new curriculum reform,solidly implement the new Curriculum standards,and to do academic evaluation with integrity.Only in this way can the academic level examination of ordinary high naturally play its due value,truly promote education evaluation of general high school,and promote the evaluation of student learning.
