Ever since new curriculum reform in 2007 about one decade ago,especially under the consistent exploration of the proposition experts,the subject of history in college entrance examination has formed its special characteristics.In particular,one of its highlights is that it has blended the new idea of history,that is,the concept of pluralism,which is a reflection of the breadth,diversity and complexity of history.College entrance examination is a bacon,guided by which history teachers at high school should infuse the new history concept in the teaching process deliberately.The first compulsory course of history published by People's Education Press is constituted by several historic subjects with nine modules,the content of which is mixed with history of China and that of the world,with a time span of thousands of years,which is seemingly a little disorganized.However,the fact is that the book aims at expounding the historical development trend,which evolves from autocracy to democracy,from the rule of man to that of law.This kind of purpose is within the spectrum of the modern history.Interpreting the history textbooks in the modern way can not only conform to the purpose of teaching materials,promote the establishment of student's knowledge structure,but also adapt to the new requirements of college entrance examination,fully reflect the humanism of the subject.In this paper,we take the revolution of 1911 as an example,focusing on the relevant problems encountered by the concept of modernization history with regard to its application to the history teaching at high school,in the hope that it can shed some lights upon the teaching of other relevant subjects.This paper mainly explores the application of the modernization of history in the history education in senior high school.The thesis consists of four parts.Part ? is an introduction.It briefly introduces its research background,significance,methods,as well as its current research.Part ? initiates with the definition and basic contents of modern history.Then it proceeds to analyze the problems existed in the teaching of history in senior high school.At last,it expounds the necessity and feasibility of applying modern view of history in such teaching.Part ? explores the application of modernization of history into teaching,which is manifested in the teaching of knowledge,ability,as well as that of the emotional attitude values.To attain such goal,we take up two cases,that is,history class for knowledge and activities.Part ? analyzes the effect,potential problems of applying the modernization of history into teaching.To make the research valid,the present author combines his real-life history teaching practice.
