As a kind of art form which is the core of the performance,the ancient Chinese opera is composed of literature,music,dance and other elements.Which the script as the?center of the drama?,is the representative of the traditional opera literature.In the process of Chinese drama creation,the source and choice of the material must be faced,strong narrative folklore has been favored by playwright.The development of the Ming and Qing Dynasties' dramas gradually began to decline,but at the same time has learned some characteristics of Chuanqi into its own system of reform,has a unique value.In this paper,legendary people of the Ming and Qing Dynasties' dramas have been chosen as the research object.By analyzing the performance of different types of legends in the script,we can not only find the direct impact of social environment and personal experience on drama creation,but also from text analogies with succession of the relationship between traditional opera and folklore.It is divided into two parts:introduction and main body.The introduction briefly introduces the reasons for choosing this topic,the research status and methods of this research.The main body consists of four chapters,firstly illustrates the relationship between the Ming and Qing Dynasties' dramas and legend,and get two conclusions which is direct materials and indirect reference.Secondly focuses on the classification of legend in the Ming and Qing Dynasties' dramas,paves the way for the detailed analysis of later chapters.The second chapter on the interpretation of fairy tale in the Ming and Qing Dynasties' dramas were investigated to analyze the influence of the secularization of Taoism deity belief on the creation of drama.Particularly select Western Queen Mother,Dongbin legends and Matsu as the main target,respectively discusses their different showcase in drama.The third chapter mainly set talented and sword woman as the research subject,analyzes the cause of this theme literature again flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties,namely the wave of emancipation led to the beginning of mid-Ming playwrights special concern to women groups.Some works both on unilateral praise of female talents,and at the meantime ignite s series of deep-seated ideal with the authors.And retaining the core architecture of folklore were properly rewritten,significantly promote their widespread in the later generation.The fourth chapter analyzes the literary legends in the Ming and Qing Dynasties' dramas,and selects Li Bai and Du Mo to be discussed as an example.Where LX bootjack legendary are often borrowed by Li Bai Opera,reflecting the literati proud uninhibited spirit.The Du Mo visiting King Xiang legend directly as the material to be absorbed by the playwrights,and placed underappreciated indignation.
