Clinical Research On The Effect Of JIU QI Nian Tong In Treating Blood Type Migraine

ObjectevesThe purpose of the research is to provide the clinical and theory basis for the promotion and development of JIU QI Nian Tong decoction (JQNT) by observing its curative effects and approching to its mechanism of action in treating blood-type migraine.Methods60 patients were randomly divided into treatment group and the control group. Treatment group came to JQNT side addition and subtraction pain treatment; the control group to Tianshu capsule treatment; continuous treatment group after 28 days, to observe the overall efficacy of migraine attack frequency and transcranial Doppler (TCD) examination of the change indicators and clinical safety of its preliminary observations to make.Results1. Treatment group were significantly different(P<0.05 or P<0.01)in the total efficiency, efficacy of TCM Syndrome and TCM Syndrome points compared with the control group。2. Compared with before treatment,2 weeks and 4 weeks after the treatment the two group of patients in headache episodes per month, duration and accompanying symptoms were significantly different (P <0.01); the treatment group in the clinical integration of 2 and 4 weeks after the treatment has markedly improved at the level of headache pain, there is statistical significance (P＜0.01); After treatment, headache pain at the level of improvement was better than the control group (P<0.05).3. The change of TCD indicators:compared with before treatment, the two groups after treatment in systolic TCD were significantly improved, there is statistical significance (P<0.05 or P<0.01); the right side of the middle cerebral artery (MCA)and the right side of the pre-artery (PCA) of treatment group,which is marked improvement than the control group (P<0.05).ConclusionsJQNT has so many ways to control migraine attacks effectively, such as reduction of headache pain episodes, shorter time to headache attacks, reducing the degree of headache attack, reduce the associated symptoms, improve cerebral blood flow and so on. JQNT has obvious curative effects in treating the Blood type migraine,and which is one of the safe and effective prescription in the treatment of blood-type migraine.
