Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of modified Linggui Zhugan decoction in the treatment of patients with migraine of phlegm dampness syndromes by randomized parallel control study, and to verify its safety and effectiveness,so as to provide basis for guiding clinical treatment.Methods:60 patients with migraine of phlegm dampness syndromes were randomly divided into 2 groups.30 patients of the experimental group were treated with modified Linggui Zhugan decoction, and 30 patients of the control group were treated with flunarizine hydrochloride capsule, with one month as a course of treatment, and treatment for two courses. The two groups were evaluated by traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)symptom quantitative integral table, headache index, visual analog scale/score(VAS),Headache Impact Test-6(HIT-6)score and other observation indicators. The adverse reactions of the two groups were recorded. And before and after treatment, the efficacy and safety of modified Linggui Zhugan decoction in the treatment of migraine of phlegm dampness syndromes were evaluated.Results:60 patients were included in this study.5 patients withdrew and finally 55 patients were included.28 patients in the experimental group and 27 patients in the control group. The statistical analysis showed that in the experimental group, the effective rate of the clinical efficacy of Chinese medicine was 64.3%,the clinical effective rate of western medicine was 85.7%;in the control group, the clinical effective rate was 29.6%,and the clinical effective rate of the western medicine was 59.3%.Compared with the combined efficacy of the two groups,P<0.05 there was a statistical difference.Compared with before treatment. The VAS,headache index,TCM symptom scores, and HIT-6 scores of the two groups were significantly decreased at the first month and the second month after treatment(P<0.05),and the decrease trend of modified Linggui Zhugan decoction group was more obvious than that of flunarizine hydrochloride group. Conclusion:The modified Linggui Zhugan decoction can effectively improve the patients with migraine of phlegm dampness syndromes. The comprehensive curative effect is significant with no obvious adverse reactions, and it is safe in the treatment of migraine of phlegm dampness syndrome.
