Modified ChaiHuShuGan Tang And Tongxie Yaofang In Treating Diarrhea Predominant Irritable Bowel Syndrome (Liver Stagnation And Spleen Deficiency Syndrome) Clinical Study

Objective: To observe the use of Modified Chai Hu Shu Gan Tang and Tongxie Yaofang in treating diarrhea predominant irritable bowel syndrome(liver stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome)patients and evaluate its efficacy,provide the basis for the day after medication.Methods: A total of 60 patients with diarrhea predominant irritable bowel syndrome were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group according to the proportion of 1:1 in the Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.The treatment group: Modified Chai Hu Shu Gan Tang and Tongxie Yaofang(composed of vinegar bupleurum,Cyperus,Fructusaurantii,Radix Paeoniae Alba,Rhizoma Chuanxiong,Radix Saposhnikoviae,white atractylodes rhizome,liquorice,tangerine peel,etc)for 4weeks;the control group: Gu Chang Zhi Xxie pills,course of treatment.Results:(1)According to the standard of curative effect,the total effective rate of the treatment group was about 30 in the treatment group and the control group(n = 86.67%).The total effective rate of the control group was about 73.33%after treatment.(2)There was significant difference between the treatment group and the control group before and after treatment,(P< 0.01).The comparison between the two groups suggest that anxiety,diarrhea,loss of appetite,stool and bowel symptoms were significantly different(P< 0.05),there was no significant difference in fatigue,loss of appetite,belching symptoms(P> 0.05).(4)The treatment group of 30 patients,treatment anxiety scale score was 56.933±10.517,after the treatment of anxiety scale score was 38.667 + 8.632,within the group there was significant difference(P< 0.01);the control group of 30 patients,treatment anxiety scale score was 56.833±9.903,after the treatment of anxiety score 46.733 + 9.534,within the group there was significant d-2ifference(P<0.01);the two groups before treatment had no significant difference(P> 0.05),there was significant difference after treatment(P< 0.01).(5)The treatment group of 30 patients,before treatment depression scale score55.867±11.840,after the treatment of depression scale score 35.900 + 8.104,within the group there was significant difference(P< 0.01);the control group of 30 patients,before treatment depression scale score 57.333±9.353,after the treatment of depression score46.300 + 9.635,within the group there was significant difference(P< 0.01);the two groups before treatment had no significant difference(P> 0.05),there was significant difference after treatment(P< 0.01).Conclusion: The data obtained from the above results suggest that Chai Hu Shu Gan Tang and Tongxie Yaofang in treating diarrhea predominant irritable bowel syndrome(liver stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome)with good curative effect,proved that TCM treatment can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of the patients,improve the quality of life of patients,and safe non-toxic side effects,and reflects the outstanding the characteristics and advantages of Chinese medicine,extends the ideas for the clinical treatment of diarrhea type irritable bowel syndrome.
