| Objectives:To investigate the relationship between the levels of uric acid,P – selectin, thromboxane B2 in atrial fibrillation and cerebral ischemic stroke.Method: From April 2016 to December, total of 78 patients that hospitalized in the first affiliated hospital of University of South China with diagnosis of atrial fibrillation were selected. The head computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)was completed in all patients.According to the 2014 Guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of acute ischemic stroke in China, all patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation were divide into two groups, group A with ischemic stroke(n=30),group B without ischemic stroke(n=48).Another 52 sinus rhythm patients in same time period hospitalized with ischemic stroke were enrolled as group C.Clinical history was recorded, low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),uric acid,P –selectin, thromboxane B2 and left atrium diameter levels were measured. The interrelation between cerebral ischemic stroke in patients withnonvalvular atrial fibrillation and different indicators were analysed.Result: 1)The levels of serum uric acid,P – selectin and thromboxane B2 in group A were above those in group B.There was no significant difference in age,sex and history of diabetes, coronary disease and hypertension,LDL-C,TG,TC,HDL-C and LAD between the two groups.2)The levels of serum uric acid,P – selectin, thromboxane B2 and left atrial diameter in group A were significantly higher than those in group C.There was no significant difference in age,sex and history of diabetes, coronary disease and hypertension,LDL-C,TG,TC and HDL-C between the two groups.3)Pearson analysis found that the serum uric acid was positively correlated with the P selectin and thromboxane B2 in group A.Conclusion: 1)The high levels of uric acid may play roles in the occurrence of cerebral ischemic stroke in patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation.2)The level of serum uric acid was positively correlated with the levels of P-selectin and thromboxane B2 in nonvalvular atrial fibrillation patients with cerebral ischemic stroke. |
