The Correlation Research Of Professional Self-Concept And Turnover Intention Of Nurses In Two County Hospitals,Chang Chun City

Purpose:The purpose of this research is to know current situation of professional self-concept and turnover intention of nurses in two Chang Chun county hospitals,analysis the influencing factor and correlation,analysis main reason of county hospital nurses'turnover.Thus for giving constructive advice to educators and regulators of nursing and promoting quantity level of nursing in our country.Methods:The method of quota sampling is taken,two county hospitals 336 nurses who are on-the-job are chosen as the study object,the basic information questionnaire,self-concept scale of nursing and turnover intention scale are taken as research tools to conduct a questionnaire of nurses,the collecting data is uniformly arranged and analyzed by the software SPSS 19.00.Results:The whole professional attitude of nurses' professional self-concept in two Chang Chun county hospitals is positive,skill is the highest and satisfaction is the lowest.The nurses,who has different ages,education background,positions,professional title,or whether they are the only child or not,they like nursing or not,the score difference of their professional self-concept has statistical significance(P<0.05).The whole level of nurses'turnover intention in two Chang Chun county hospitals is low.The nurses,who has different ages,education background,positions,professional title,or they like nursing or not,the score difference of their turnover intention has statistical significance(P<0.05).There exists correlation between professional self-concept and turn over intention of nurses in two Chang Chun county hospitals.Skill and communication have negative effects on total score of turnover intention,communication has negative effects on turnover intention ?,communication and flexibility have negative effects on turnover intention ?,communication has negative effects on turnover intention?.Conclusions:The whole professional attitude of nurses' professional self-concept in two Chang Chun county hospitals are positive,the whole level of nurses' turnover intention is low,there exists correlation between professional self-concept and turn over intention of nurses.The factors which can affect the turnover intention of nurses are:skill,communication,flexibility.
