Recent years,the unbalance between medical requirements and services has been increasingly serious,especially reflected in high medical service cost,poor efficiency of medical sercive supplement and low patient satisfaction.As the result,medical system reform has been carried out,including introducing social capital to create more competitive environment and facilitate operation mode reform according to modern enterprise management system,to improve the medical service productivity.Critical path method(CPM)technique is a project management method,the key path as to project constraints to control the project progress,which is saving resource,reducing time consumption,linking the nodes of the critical path more closely.This paper takes G hospital medical service process management optimization project as the background,using critical path method to identify the vulnerabilities and bottleneck of the chain.By evaluating the length of the chain,efficiency of nodes,buffer time consumption,etc,with assistance of other method such as job design,it helps to set target of optimization project which helps to improve the quality and quantity of medical service as well as the satisfaction of both the doctor and the patient.Finally,hope that application of Critical Path Method in G hospital medical service process management optimization project provide reference for other hospitals to improve the efficiency of medical service.
