Objective To explore the relationship between nasal septal deviation and the pathogenesis of CRSs NP through the analysis of paranasal sinus CT.Methods:185 cases of nasal septum were treated by nasal endoscopic sinus sur gery, axial and / or coronal CT scan. All paranasal sinuses CT were assessed by Lund-Machay CT scoring system.Analysis and statistics the incidence of dir-ection and degree and location of onasal septum deviation in sinusitis group and normal control group. And the direction of the nasal septum nasal named narrow side, contrary to the wide side, analysis of the incidence of sinusitis of bilateral nasal cavity.According to the Zhang Jianning method, the nasal septal deviation with chronic sinusitis without nasal polyps were divided into A,B,C,D,E,F.The incidence of chronic rhinosinusitis and nasal polyps were analyzed and compared;through the endoscopic observation changes on both sides of nasal cavity structure. Results There were 129 patients with CRSs NP in 185 cases of patients with nasal septum, the incidence rate was 69.73%.What’s more, there were 87 cases with the wide side of nasal septum deviation complicated with CRSs NP,the incidence rate was higher reaching 67.44%;The narrow side nasal septum deviat ion complicated with CRSs NP in 42 cases, the incidence rate was 32.56%.1、 There is no significant difference between the direction of deviation of nasal septum sinusitis group and control group;Compare the degree of deviation of nasal septum between sinusitis group and the normal, there was significant difference between the degree of deviation of nasal septum and chronic sinusitis, there is acorrelation between the severe deviation of nasal septum and CRSsNP;Through the comparison between the nasal septum position group,The posi-tion of nasal septum deviation was statistically significant between sinusitis group and normal control group, high deviation of nasal septum was correlated with CRSs NP.2、According to the Lund-Mackay sinus CT evaluation and scoring method,we observed the severity of sinusitis in the patients who were enr-olled in the study, the nasal side of the nasal sinuses were mostly turbid, and the maxillary sinus and anterior ethmoid sinus were more significant.3、According to Zhang Jianning group the nasal septum,129 cases complicated with CRSs NP in 185 cases of patients with deviation of nasal septum, the combination of A and CRSs NP in 12 cases;group B with CRSs NP has 14 cases;group C with CRSs NP has 15 cases;group D(high plate, lamina mediana)with CRSs NP has 56 cases;group E with CRSs NP has 11 cases;F with CRSs NP has 21 cases. The high deviation group(group D,F)the highest incidence of C RSs NP,a total of 77 cases.4、Nasal septum deviation with CRSs NP of bilateral nasal examination results showed: middle turbinate, inferior turbinate and un-cinate process such as hypertrophy of structure variation is more common in the wide side of the nasal cavity;a reverse buckling and a compression in the narrow side of the nasal cavity.Conclution 1、The high incidence of CRSs NP in patients with deviation of nasal septum, there was correlation between nasal septum deviation and the occurrence of CRSs NP,and the occurrence of high deviation of nasal septum and CRSs NP have correlation.2、The wide side of nasal septumdeviation with CRSs NP is higher than the narrow side, the incidence of maxillary sinus and an terior ethmoid sinus in the wide lateral deviation of nasal septum was obvious.3、The incidence of CRSs NP was higher in D and F group in nasal septum deviation for each group.4、middle turbinate, inferior turbinate and uncinate process such as hypertrophy of structure variation is more common in the wide side of the nasal cavity;a reverse buckling and a compression in the narrow side of the nasal cavity.
