Effect Of Qaidam Chinese Wolfberry Juice On Patients With Kidney-yang Deficiency Of Hyperlipidemia

OBJECTIVE: To observe the curative effect of Qaidam Chinese wolfberry on patients with kidney-yang deficiency symptoms of hyperlipidemia.METHODS: 70 cases with kidney-yang deficiency symptoms of hyperlipidemia were randomly divided into 3 groups : tomato juice group;tomato juice and wolfberry juice group;wolfberry juice group.Patients in tomato juice group were given tomato juice 50 ml each time,once a day,after meals.The patients in tomato juice and wolfberry juice group were taken both tomato juice and wolfberry juice 50 ml per day,after meals.The wolfberry juice group is given wolfberry juice 50 ml once a day,after meals.Three groups are treated in 8 weeks for a period of treatment,and then judge the curative effect after all the treatments.Both tomato juice and Chinese wolfberry juice are made in the same package and they are both derived from the Qinghai Wolfberry Ltd.The patients in control group were required to fill in a form about kidney deficiency symptom score at 4 weeks,8weeks and before they join the group.Observe the clinic effects of three groups of patients before and after treatment.Indicators were detected after 4 weeks and 8weeks: serum lipid levels(TC、TG、LDL、HDL);hemorheology(HGB、HCT)and safety indicators(Scr、UA、BUN、ALT、AST etc)RESULTS:(1)Distribution of kidney yang deficiency symptom:the frequency of three presenting symptom are soreness and weakness of waist and knees(86.27%)、hypaphrodisia(92.15%)、intolerance of cold and cold limbs(58.82%).The frequency of the 10 symptoms were: mental deterioration(94.11%)、frequent night urination(56.86%)、forgetful(64.70%)、sleep disorder(76.47%)、 Deafness tinnitus(21.85%)、Urine heeltap(17.64%)、edema of lower extremity(5.88%)、shortness of breath afterwork(35.29%)、memory loss(64.70%)、withered hairs and tooth shakes(5.88%);(2)The total score of syndromes : The total effective rate were: wolfberry juice group is 60.00%,the tomato juice + wolfberry juice group is 76.19% and the tomato juice group is 30.00%.there were no obvious difference(P>0.05),comparable.(3)The total clinical curative effect comparison: the indicators of serum lipid levels have decreased in control group while no significant decreased in treatment group.(4)Safety comparison : There were no abnormal changes in blood routine,liver and kidney function tests before and after treatment.CONCLUSIONS: Qaidam fresh wolfberry juice can clearly improve the main symptoms of kidney yang deficiency and hyperlipidemia and disease;Qaidam fresh wolfberry juice can improve the life quality of the patients of hyperlipidemia with kidney yang deficiency syndrome;Qaidam fresh wolfberry juice did not cause significant harm to the normal function of the liver and kidney...
