Effect Of Hp Infection On Healing Of Iatrogenic Ulcer After Gastric Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection

Objective: To investigate whether Helicobacter pylori infection(Hp)will affect the healing of artificial iatrogenic ulcer after gastric endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD).Methods: Fifty-five patients who underwent endoscopic ESD during the hospitalization of the First Affiliated Hospital of Shihezi University Medical College were divided into Hp positive group(24 cases)and Hp negative group(31 cases)according to whether they had Hp infection.Positive group of 13 males and 11 females,aged 47-81 years,mean age 62 years;Hp negative group of 22 males and 9 females,aged 33-83 years,mean age 58 years old.The diameter of iatrogenic ulcer and ulcer healing were measured at 4 weeks and 6 weeks after ESD.The ulcer diameter and ulcer healing rate were compared between the two groups at 4 weeks and 6 weeks postoperatively.It was analyzed whether Hp infection had an effect on the healing of iatrogenic ulcer after ESD.Results: The ulcer diameter and ulcer healing rate of Hp negative group were better than those of Hp positive group at 4 weeks after ESD(P <0.05).The average ulcer diameter of Hp negative group was 6(3)mm,Hp positive group The mean ulcer healing rate was 0.7088 ± 0.0467 in the Hp negative group and 0.6497±0.0412 in the Hp positive group.The average ulcer healing rate in the Hp group was 0.6497±0.0467;The ulcer diameter and ulcer healing rate of Hp negative group were better than those of Hp positive group at 6 weeks after operation(P <0.05).The average ulcer diameter of Hp negative group was 1(1),Hp positive group The average ulcer healing rate in the Hp-negative group was 0.9001±0.0411,and the average ulcer healing rate in the Hp-positive group was 0.8896±0.0593.Conclusion: Hp infection is one of the important factors that affect the healing of iatrogenic ulcer after ESD.
