Theoretical Research Of Hair In The Yellow Emperor’s Internal Canon

Objectives and methods In order to better dig deeper into theoretical value of the Yellow Emperor’s Internal Canon and Play a guiding role in clinical researches,this article adopts the methods of combining literature research and theoretical discussion to make systematic classification and research on theoretical connotation and clinical application of hair in Yellow Emperor’s Internal Canon.Results and conclusions The article first to sort out the relevant terms of the hair on the "Yellow Emperor’s Internal Canon",finishing mainly discussed emphatically the relationship between the hair and essence qi blood,organs,main and collateral channels in Yellow Emperor’s Internal Canon.In addition,the article also discusses the clinical value of hair-related content in the Yellow Emperor’s Internal Canon from the aspects of hair as the application of medicine,inspection of hair as assistant means of diagnosis,and hair disease treatment in multiple perspectives and multiple levels.The hair as a subsidiary organ of the body,its growth and decline is based on refining qi and blood for the basis of nutrients.In addition,the human body as a whole,its tissues and organs are interrelated,the growth status of the hair is also affected by the internal organs.Due to "The lung reflects its brilliance on the hair","Essence of the kidney being reflected on the hair",so there has a close relationship between hair and lung and kidney,but physiological function of the spleen and stomach,supply of blood,the physiological and psychological functions of the liver will affect the normal hair growth.Because the hair is the external manifestation of qi and blood,so the number of blood in the main and collateral channels is showed through the number of hair and hair softness.We can analysis the hair in three aspects from source,root and route,so nutritional sufficiency,strong root and the route is unobstructed will make the hair become soft and moist.
